McShane’s full-service approach means projects can be designed and fabricated in house, streamlining the process to make it a smooth transition between design and fabrication. This includes shop drawings that break down components into individual parts so that they can be visualized during the fabrication process.
McShane Welding features Oxy-Fuel and Plasma Arc burning capabilities up to 2in mild steel, 1 3/4 in thick stainless steel, and 1 1/2in aluminum. With 18,000 square feet of manufacturing space, 27 feet under hook, and a combined crane capacity of 50,000 pounds, we want to become your heavy fabrication source.
Post fabrication has an important role as it enhances the durability and appearance of every project. McShane offers a wide range of finishing techniques including grinding, polishing, deburring and sanding to enhance the exterior of the metal itself. McShane can also make recommendations on other finishing needs per your projects goals and requirements, these may include powder coating, anodizing and fluoropolymer finishes.
McShane welding has a full-time AWS Certified Welding inspector (CWI) which helps guarantee you the highest level of quality and integrity on all projects. Pre-qualification can be provided with AWS number upon request.
Employees of McShane Welding are qualified to the standards outlined in AWS D1.1, AWS D1.6, and SS AL-6XN, and AWS D14.1 (all latest addition).
